If you’re thinking of starting your own business but don’t know where to begin or
whether it’s the right option for you, Enterprise West Yorkshire can support you. Led
by the Mayor of West Yorkshire and delivered by West Yorkshire Combined
Authority, we have created a series of on-demand videos, live workshops and
resources to help you decide and tell you everything you need to know to get started
on your start-up journey.
Explore Enterprise is part of the mayor’s region-wide Enterprise West Yorkshire
programme, a £6m programme to encourage entrepreneurship and help people get
the support that they need to build successful businesses. The programme covers
Leeds, Bradford, Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield.
The course is made up of five informal workshops. You have the option to complete
the course over five weeks or you can choose an intensive course where all five
workshops are delivered over one weekend. Alternatively, if you can’t make a
course, we’ll send you course resources so that you can learn in your own time!

Think about how to attract customers and ensure they return
Understand the role of marketing, sales, and customer relationship management
