Levelling up the North with Lord Barwell – invite for the YABA members

We would like to invite the YABA members to join Lord Barwell, former Chief of Staff to Theresa May, on a webcast to hear his thoughts on the economic recovery of the region; specifically exploring the Government’s commitment to levelling up the North and utilising the ‘Levelling Up Fund’, what we can learn from the budget and what might this mean for future policy and business opportunities.
Additionally, time will be taken to address the green industrial revolution and how the North is positioned to benefit from this; and explore what impact will the latest EU regulations have on businesses against the positive action around freeports and the ‘Super-deduction’.
Lord Barwell will also be joined by Katie Johnston, from PwC’s Government and Health Industries team. Katie will provide her unique insight around key government policies which will be crucial in levelling up the North in a fair and inclusive way.
