The Northern Asian Powerlist 2020, in partnership with Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership, Yorkshire Asian Business Association and Squire Patton Boggs, would like to invite you to join the Northern Asian Powerlist finalists and other food businesses across the Northern Powerhouse to a virtual roundtable. Our roundtable will take place on 21 January 2021 at noon,providing a learning and networking opportunity as we continue to celebrate the exceptional Asian Food and Drink businesses in the North, and the contribution to the UK economy of the Northern Food and Drink sector as part of the Northern Asian Powerlist 2020.
The food and drink sector faces many global challenges and opportunities around Brexit, COVID-19, conscious consumerism, regulation and trade. The sector has always shown a unique ability to meet change head on and 2020 demonstrated this through the pivot to meet consumer demand and the extraordinary rise of the direct-to-consumer movement through the emergence of innovation, such as cloud kitchens and fast growth in the ready meal kit market.
As 2021 settles in, our roundtable will look at the trends and pivots across the sector, as well as how to protect your business and reputation as regulations and consumer behaviour evolve.
