The West Yorkshire Combined Authority are delivering a series of Skills Bootcamps to support employers to upskill their own staff. Businesses can register their interest for places on courses in exchange for a small financial contribution. Up to 90% of the costs will be funded by the WYCA in a number of areas including the digital and technical sector.
Skills Bootcamps are intensive, unaccredited courses; with content aimed at Level 3-5 or equivalent. Courses are flexible and equip adults with technical skills that enable them to access in-demand jobs, apprenticeships, new opportunities, and an increased level of income over time (including for the self-employed).
