As the NHS celebrates its 75th anniversary this year, there’s no better time to show your support for our hospitals and healthcare heroes.
One way to make a difference – while you have fun – is for you or your corporate team to sign up to one of the Bradford Hospitals’ Charity challenge events.
Whether you’re a seasoned athlete, a hobby jogger, or simply want to get fit while you fundraise, Bradford Hospitals’ Charity has an exciting calendar of events to give you the opportunity to challenge yourself while you celebrate. There are a variety of events for both individuals and teams, which are perfect for boosting morale and team-building.
Bradford Hospitals’ Charity is the official NHS charity of Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and funds over and above what the NHS routinely provides. From innovative medical equipment, to items which make treatment and care more comfortable and effective – Bradford Hospitals’ Charity strives to ensure patients in Bradford receive a gold standard of care.
You could join the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Cllr Martin Love, and his team for the Leeds Marathon on 14 May, or take advantage of one of our FREE places in the beautiful Ilkley Half Marathon on 16 July. We also have the White Rose Classic on 2 July for cyclists, as well as the popular team-building challenges, the Tough Mudder and Total Warrior. In September, you can join our colleagues from hospitals across the North of England to take part in the iconic Yorkshire Three Peaks. You will be joining our dedicated clinicians and NHS support staff on these events, who are taking part to raise money for their departments and wards, because they see the tangible difference our funds make.
