Individuals and organisations – including businesses operating in West Yorkshire – are being invited to share the policing issues that matter most to them.

The new Plan will set out the policing priorities and the direction of West Yorkshire Police over the next four years, so it’s vital we hear from everyone. The consultation will run until 31 October, but we welcome input as soon as you are able to provide it.

All details about how local organisations and residents can get involved are available on our website here. We are particularly asking businesses to complete our survey for partners, which can be accessed here and will be open until 10 October.

If you would prefer to discuss your views with the Police and Crime Team instead of responding in writing, you can sign up to an online session at 14:00 on Monday 2nd  September by emailing Katherine.Bates@westyorks-ca.gov.uk (note that places are limited, so we recommend signing up early). In person sessions will also be organised for each District (check the website for updates).

Can I please encourage you to forward this email to your networks; we are keen to reach as many organisations and individuals who live, work and/or study in West Yorkshire.

If you have any questions or feedback about the consultation, please contact the team at PolicingandCrime@westyorks-ca.gov.uk.
