Bradford College and Yorkshire Asian Business Association (Yaba) are working together to enhance the college’s skills curriculum offer and engage business partners across the community.

In one example of the benefit of close collaboration, and to support Yaba’s continuing growth, Yaba has recruited an apprentice.

Apprenticeships are tailored around employers, meaning apprentices are trained and skilled to meet your business needs.

‘We are really pleased to be working in partnership with Bradford College, its a great example of a mutually beneficial relationship strengthening the Education, Skills, Business and Innovation  agenda for the benefit of the business and wider community’, Amarjit Singh Chairman YABA

Bradford College is ready to provide support services for traineeships and apprentices to all Yaba businesses.

A second example of this partnership is the ongoing dialogue around the opportunity to base the Yaba administration office in Bradford College’s David Hockney Building .

Asa Gordon, Vice Principal, said: “These opportunities are potentially the start of a close and important working relationship between Bradford College management, its staff and the business community of Yaba.”
