Bradford College’s Sustainable Transport Open Day is inviting employers to help shape the green workforce of the future.

On Monday 14 June, employers can hear from Bradford Council and interact with leading industry experts on the future of sustainable transport in Bradford and learn how the college’s Future Technology Centre can help their businesses grow.

Greg O Shea, Head of Construction and Engineering at Bradford College, said: “New laws and the climate emergency means the future of the car industry is ‘all electric’. At Bradford College we’ve transformed our curriculum to get ahead of the curve and prepare our students for the greener garages of the future.

“Together we can future proof your business and play our part in making a greener, cleaner Bradford.”

Chris Cotterill, UK Business Development Manager at the Institute of the Motor Industry, said: “As chair of the FTC’s Sustainable Transport Hub, I’m very much looking forward to helping the Bradford College team deliver an enjoyable and informative event; I hope to see you there.”

The event is taking place at the college’s Advanced Technologies Centre. You can find out more book your place via Eventbrite
