What a month it has been for Myth!
We won Gold at the free from food awards, Gold at the World Alcohol Free Award, Silver at the San Francisco bartender awards and then took the incredible trophy for the best alcohol-free spirit globally from the world alcohol free awards!
How does this translate into sales though? Unfortunately, not very well. The UK drinks market is still dominated by the big alcohol producers and distributors, and I am finding it a very difficult and frustration process to find meaningful route to market.
That said I am nothing if not determined! As I write this I have just returned from a trip to The House of Commons invited by the British Business excellence Awards and I am just about to head off to Jersey to host a Sober Yacht party. I do wonder though when I see all the reports about the rise in consumer interest in alcohol free why it is still so difficult to get liquid on lips?
Excitingly I am just finishing designing a range of canned ready to drink 0% cocktails based around my coconut rum. I am playing my cards a little close to my chest right now but i am hoping to have the first batch ready within a month, fingers crossed!
I have lots of cool and fun activations this summer so hopefully the exposure will begin to translate into sales.
