NEW Good Growth Programme for West Yorkshire SMEs

Oxford Innovation Advice are delighted to announce the NEW Good Growth Programme!

Led by West Yorkshire Combined Authority and delivered by Oxford Innovation Advice, this new scheme forms part of the mayor’s ambition to make West Yorkshire the best place to work, learn and live.

The NEW initiative embraces diversity and offers business coaching and other tailored support from a team of local experts – it encourages business leaders to take a long-term view over planning their future growth.

The Good Growth Programme is designed to equip businesses with actionable and practical advice to stimulate immediate business growth and will further strengthen West Yorkshire’s innovation ecosystem.

 

SMEs joining the programme will benefit from:

  • A digital diagnostic assessment to measure the key growth areas for your business.
  • An individual Good Growth action plan identifying key business areas to address/improve (barriers to growth).
  • Expert local-based client managers who have excellent knowledge and connections with other local companies to signpost businesses to.
  • Bespoke coaching and specialist advice so, you can improve your business growth and focus on delivering your Good Growth plans.
  • You will gain a deeper understanding of your business strengths, weaknesses, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Group masterclass sessions run by subject matter specialists, covering marketing, finance, digitalisation, people & skills, plus net zero. You will come away with actionable tips, tactics, and techniques to grow your business.
  • Emphasis throughout on social and environmental factors, including online carbon footprint reduction.

 

The scheme is available to SMEs across the region and is heavily subsidised* through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).

*£500 will get you over £5k worth of business support opportunities.
