The UK’s first ever International Trade Week is here. The week offers a series of exciting events to help businesses learn more about selling globally and connect with trade industry experts.

Whether your business currently sells goods or services internationally, or is yet to start, whether you are a small business new to exporting to multinational companies looking to expand your horizons, International Trade Week will give you the inspiration, advice and confidence to take the next steps to grow your business.

Northern Powerhouse Trade mission to Medica

The Department for International Trade (DIT) invites healthcare and life sciences businesses from across the Northern Powerhouse region to join this trade mission to the leading international trade fair for the sector.

Virtual Northern Powerhouse e-Mission 2021 – Connecting UK Food and Drink Companies with Overseas Opportunities

The Department for International Trade invites companies from the Northern Powerhouse in the Food and Drink sector to join us for this virtual trade mission. With a strong heritage and innovative products, the sector is a key industry in the North and one that is being targeted for support as part of the Government’s levelling up agenda.

The mission presents a fantastic opportunity for food and drink businesses from the region to learn from industry experts and reach international buyers.

The mission has two elements, starting with capability building workshops equipping businesses with the knowledge needed to grow international sales in the food and drink sector. Eligible companies will also gain free access to Export Connections, an event which aims to bring the UK Food & Drink exporting community together for global insights, advice, contacts and inspiring content.​ Connect with international distributors, export wholesalers, in market experts and export service professionals who can take care of your overseas sales or non-core markets.
