After a challenging 12 months, Chancellor Rishi Sunak will deliver his second and much anticipated Budget on Wednesday 3 March 2021. One he might have hoped would be set against a backdrop of a country on its way to a post-pandemic recovery. Instead, lockdown restrictions are still in force across the country and protecting jobs and livelihoods remains a top priority.

While immediate significant measures are unlikely, we expect the Chancellor to take the opportunity to set out a roadmap to recovery that will show the landscape for future revenue raising measures and set the economic narrative for this Parliament.

To discuss the implications of the Budget announcements on businesses, I am pleased to invite you to our virtual webcast which will take place on 4 March, 10.00am – 11am (GMT).

The discussion will be lead by PwC’s Head of Tax, Marissa Thomas and she will be joined by her colleagues:

  • Jon Richardson, PwC Tax Policy Lead Partner
  • Stella Amiss, PwC Tax Regional Lead Partner
